2010 Northern Region Series

Due to the current and further weather predictions for this weekend the Northern Region round to be held at Seymour,
on Sunday, September 5, has been postponed to Sunday, October 10. Entries received for Seymour will be transferred to 10th October.
This will now make the final weekend a two day event -

Whittlesea & District - Saturday, October 9 - Whittlesea & District
Seymour - Sunday, October 10 - Seymour - Final round and Presentation

Entries for Whittlesea & District (Broadford) and Seymour (Granite Park) close Friday, October 1.

Remember that entries close the last mail on the Friday before (one week prior) to the event.

Swan Hill Sun Centre Master 2 Day Open

Swan Hill Sun Centre 2-Day Open is still on. There has been rumours circulating the event wasn't going ahead.

AWMCC Sunday's Practice Day Cancelled

This Sunday's practice day has been cancelled as the track requires a lot of work due to the recent heavy rainfall
and it also clashes with Seymour's Round of the Northern Region.

AWMCC First Enduro Round

We will be holding our first enduro for the year on Sunday 19th September at Neville Hancock's property,
1425 Moyhu-Meadow Creek Rd, Meadow Creek so stay tuned for further details on that!

Wangaratta Arenacross Event Postponed

Due to bad weather the Wangaratta Arenacross event due to be held on October 2, 2010, has been Posponed due to weather.
The event will go ahead and will be held at our own track when built.
The committee is sorry for any inconnenience but the weather is out of our control.

Revised Dates Albury-Wodonga MCC Dirt Track Club Championships

Round 3 - Sunday 19th September. Sign on from 8am
Round 4 - Sunday 10th October Sign on from 8 am
Due to a busy race schedule in the last half of the year there and a few dates clashes earlier on the club champships will only be held over 4 rounds rather than proposed 5.
We will aim to set the calendar early for 2011 to avoid any clashes and hope to run a minimum of 5 rounds.

Speedway Meeting

On Saturday, November 27th, the AWMCC venue is being hired to host the first ever major Speedway meeting in Albury/Wodonga under lights.
The event will be Promoted by long time speedway promoter Terry Poole and Canberra Bulls Speedway Club President, John Walker.
Together these gentleman have the best speedway contacts in Australia and the world so the level of racing should be first class.
A planning meeting was held on Sunday, August 21st, at the Albion Hotel, to introduce speedway to the Albury-Wodonga community.

Level 2 First Aid Course

The Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Club are seeking Expressions of Interest from members to complete their Level 2 First Aid.
Course details are as follows:
The course will be run by Medical Solutions.
The team are Critical Care Paramedics and will be focusing on MX trauma, but will cover all aspects of First Aid.
No one who completes the course will be expected to use by the club. It will be at your own discretion.
The cost of this course is $130.
We need a minimum of 8, with a maximum of 14.
We currently have 5 already to go, if you are keen get in early.
The date is yet to be decided. We will work on a date when we know if we can fill the course.
Probably some time in November after all the racing is done and dusted.

*Don't forget your club membership is valid from January 1, to December 31, of any year, so if you haven't renewed yours yet, it is due.
